how to create Islamic Calendar in sap design studio?

I am trying to create Islamic Calendar using Sap.me.Calendar library of sapui5 . But Issue is that I am able to create Calendar Component but in only Gegorian Format. How I will use Sap.ui.unified.Calendar so that I can use sap.ui.core.CalendarType.Islamic.

Help me to findout the solution for this issue.

Hi Swati,

I am guessing you are implementing a DesignStudio SDK component, because the standard datefield does not fullfill your requirement. It should indeed be possible to use the sap.ui.unified.Calendar and expose it as a DesignStudio component. Currently I am not 100% sure if the framework loads sap.ui.unified by default. If not you can load it yourself to get that calendar. For some inspirations you can have a look at our repository. We are also loading all sorts of UI5 content into our DesignStudio SDK components.
