Reading data of incoming Email Attachment in C4C and perform various tasks?

Hi Team,

Can we read data in an email attachment that comes into C4C and perform multiple tasks based on the data that is read in the email's attachment.

The tasks that needs to be performed are.

1. Create a Service ticket based on the details in the email attachment.

2. Update the measurements reading in the registered product.

Has anyone of you come across such a requirement in C4C?

Please share if there are any ideas.

Hi Manjunath,

Yes we can create a Service Ticket based on incoming email.

Also in the after modify of the incoming email, we can perform other tasks like:

  1. Checking if the attachment was received in the incoming email
  2. Reading the attachment
  3. Updating other fields with the properties of attachment
