CJ20N REL After disable edit option

HI umayaraja b,

i am not sure about your requirement but this can be achieved by using BAPI or BADI, when WBS is in REL Status then system should automatically set MDLK (Master data Locked) Status to prevent further change in Master data of WBS.

this can be controlled by using Authorization also in case modification. these rights should be assinged to responsible person.

Hi,

sap allow to user edit project system (cj20n) after release status , but i want prevent that type of editing process.

once that project is released after it will go to display mode. don't show any edit option and create option also(wbs,nw,etc..) ,that's my requirement .

Hi umayaraja b,

You can use CJ20N transaction to lock your data follow the path > Open Project using CJ20N > Edit > Status > Lock Master Data.

You can also go by maintaining system status dependencies > BS22 > REL (status double click) > select which transaction you want to restrict for the REL status.

Do not restrict any financial entries for your requirement.

Check if it can be useful.
