Retro Payment for terminated Employees

Hello All,

How do we handle a scenario, where in a terminated employee is to be paid the increase in pay after he has left. i.e. suppose an employee has left in march, an agreement has been reached in august to increase the pay from January that year, and the user wants to pay that amount in an additional wage type, what procedure should the user follow?
