The objective is perform testing on a BPC Embedded installation using the 'Analysis for Office 2.4' plug-in.
I have setup the CAL - (Cloud Appliance Library) solution called 'SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition]'.
It is running in the AWS cloud platform.
I have installed the MS Excel addin locally called 'Analysis for Office 2.4'.
The web-based BPC Administration console is working from my local machine to the above AWS CAL.
The EPM plug-in is also able to connect to the BPC standard installation in the above CAL.
I am not able to establish a connection to the CAL HANA server using Analysis for Office.
Steps to reproduce:
I have tested using the HTTP (8000) and HTTPS (4300) ports.
AWS firewall ports remain as the default installation from the initial CAL setup. I am connecting from my home connection where all firewall ports are open.
I have tested from my local (external) PC using the following test link:
http://<Linux Server IP external >:8000/sap/bc/ina/service/v2/GetServerInfo
I have tested the same link from the SAP Internal Front End
http://<Linux Server IP internal >:8000/sap/bc/ina/service/v2/GetServerInfo
I am also not able to connect using the 'Insert Analysis View' in the Analysis for Office plug-in.
Any help appreciated to suggest how I can connect Excel ‘Analysis for Office’ to the AWS CAL - 'SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition]'
