I wanted to maintain sales area for a business partner.
As an initial step i created the sales org, dist channel and division in R/3. In CRM i created a new org.model and mapped the org unit created in R/3 to the newly created org model. In R/3 i created the BP while creating i assigned the org and other relevant details.
In crm when i open the sales area data of this BP, the fields where empty so i clicked the "Choose Sales Area" button and when i clicked "maintain sales area" i was not able to see the sales org assigned to the BP, rather when i clicked the "All Sales Area" the sales org was displayed.
When i create a sales transaction with a new transaction type to which i have assigned a new org data profile, when i give the new business partner no and press enter it pop ups a dialog box "Selection of attributes For Org Unit". why is this coming and if i select cross division in that pop up then also the new sales org unit is not dispalyed in the organisation tab.
How shd i maintain the sales area for a business partner and how shd i got about in solving this problem.
