Changing the R3 source for BW system

Hi All, There is a requirement at my work where the R3 development system currently used will be replaced by a new dev R3 system, I need to know what exactly do I need to consider. What things to keep in mind? As I believe I will have to reload the data again so are there any issues that I may face? Has anyone done this before? To add more details: If currently BW-Dev connects to R3-Dev1, we are planning to connect it to R3-Dev2. so it will be connected to altogether new dev system. I need to know the inside out of this process. Kindly help me with details, directions and documents. Kindly comment.

Hello PK,

do you have any deltas running between the systems? If no, just attach the R3-Dev2, copy the transfer rules and delete R3-Dev1. When you have delta data sources, make sure to do a last delta before you do the copy, then attach the new R3-Dev2, do an init without data transfer and delete R3-Dev1.
