What is the effect of Enabling HTTPS option in WACS on CMC and BI Launch Pad URL?

We need to enable HTTPS in Web Application container Servers. I am curious what will happen to CMC and BI launch PAD. Does the URL starts with HTTPS for both of the applications or does it affect only the CMC?

It depends whether you are accessing CMC and BI Launchpad using WACS or Tomcat.

If you enable SSL for WACS it will only affect WACS server and whatever app your are accessing using WACS will be accessible using https.

If you are accessing CMC and BI Launchpad using Tomcat without SSL configured then you don't need https.

Last time I check on BI4.2 SP03, CMC->Administrator Cockpit requires WACS+SSL to work if HTTPS is required, and it does not work with Tomcat8 HTTPS. I remember I found a SAP KB for this workaround.
