How do I open to an ACT! database in Crystal Reports 2013?

I want to connect SAP Crystal Reports 2013 to my ACT! database, Version 19.01, and cannot. The HELP guide refers to something about an ACT! version newer than 2. This must be terribly outdated for when looking in the ACT subfolder in the Database Expert folder I see a reference to an ACT! *.dbf file. Those files were relative to ACT! versions 6.0 and earlier (circa 2008). ACT! databases are *.adf files, and I should be able to access through *.pad file. Please tell me how to connect to my ACT! database file, Version 19.0, si I can use them using SAP Crystal Reports 2013.

FYI, as far as I can tell, ACT! does not support the SAP Advantage Database Server. Please correct me if I am wrong.
