Login Issue with Outlook

Hi All,

One of our users gets the following pop up message when trying to login to C4S after running through the installation steps for the Outlook add-in.

Has anyone encountered such a message before?

If yes, any steps for resolution?

    Hi Ashwin,

    As a prerequisite, you have to enable data exchange with the email client in scoping.

    Please check if the fallowing Business Configuration setting for the integration of local E-mail application was done.

    1.Log on as an administrator

    2. Using the Microsoft Silverlight UI (Adapt→ Launch in Microsoft Silverlight), choose Business Configuration→ Implementation Projects.

    3. Choose Edit Project Scope.

    4. Choose next, and under Scoping choose Communication and Information Exchange→ Office and Desktop Integration→ Integration with Local E-Mail Applications.

    5. Choose next, and under Questions choose Communication and Information Exchange→ Office and Desktop Integration→ Integration with Local E-Mail Applications and select the topic question.

    6. Choose Next and Choose Finish.

    Thanks Santosh. It throws the error for this one user only so far. We don't have any issues for others. Those settings are already enabled. Else everyone would have probably complained too.
