While running PGI job it is running for a very long time. When checked the job logs it has created multiple number of warning messages stating 'Do not assign any objects in cost accounting to account 1110203'
Can anyone let me know the reason for this?

This account allows assignment to CO objects (order, WBS, project, cost centers) but is not defined as a cost element, so no cost will be posted in CO.

Ask functionals as you could consider

  • creation of cost element (KA01)
  • change of message control to deactivate the Warning message (OBA5 - KI - 281)
  • remove the cost assignment (if possible, e.g. if it comes from OKB9)

Also you should try transactions like

  • ST12 Single transaction Analysis
  • ST05 SQL trace
  • SAT Abap trace

to analyze performance problems

Hi Raymond,

Thanks for the reply. Whilst i check these steps with the Finance team, i would like to seek some more help on this.

It's so surprising to see this Costing error is occurring during PGI!. how would the process during SHPCON processing would bring the cost element?

PGI triggers an Inventory Management Document reducing inventory stock which trigger an Accounting Document reducing sock value.
