Material Management : Profit Center

Hi All,

I have got followin problem in inter company stock transfer using MM and SD:

I am shipping Titalon-213 (Material) from 1000 (Manufacturing Company) to 1100 (Sales Company) against P/O 4500062389. The Outbound Delivery number created is 8094000343. I could be able to pick this using VL06O (for Picking) and confirm it using VL06O (for confirmation) but when I go to post the goods issue in VL02N I get the following error below.

No posting can be made to profit center 0075 in company code 1100.

Diagnosis:

Profit center 0075 cannot receive posting in company code 1100.

System Response:

the posting was canceled

Procedure:

If you want to post to profit center 0075 in company code 1100, it should be activated for the same conmpany code.

But we have a profit center 110 in 1100 company code. so ther is no need to activate one more profit center.

Can anyone help me in this situation?

Hello Raja,

Go and change the default profit center for the article(item) to 0110.

Trying posting Goods Issue. If this doesn't work, cancel the picking confirmation and delete the delivery.

Generate the delivery again and perform picking confirmation and you should be able to post GI.
