Hallo all,

today I installed SAP Netweaver 2004s ABAP Trial Version on my computer

Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2

There were no errors during installation and the system can be started and stopped. However logon via SAP-Logon does not work.

The logon settings are:

Description: SAP NW 2004s

Application Server: Dell9200 (name of the computer)

System ID: NSP

System Number: 00

SAP System: R/3

The error message is:

partner not reached (host Dell9200, service sapdp00)

Details

Component: NI (network interfce)

Release: 640

Version: 37

Module: nixxi_r.cpp

Line: 8688

Method: NiPConnect2

Return Code: -10

System Call: SiPeekPendConn

Error No: 10061

Error Text: WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused

The entries in the HOSTS-Datei are

127.0.0.1 localhost

10.10.0.10 Dell9200 (this is the name of the computer)

I have also checked the entries in the registry file

SAPLOCALHOST Dell9200

SAPSYSTEMNAME NSP

LAN - Microsoft Loopbackadapter:

IP-Addresse: 10.10.0.10

Subnetmask: 255.255.255.0

DNS-Server: no entry

ping localhost bzw. Dell9200 gets an response

I have already deinstalled and reinstalled SAP-GUI but the problem is the same.

Who can help me?

Hubert

Please try to use localhost as your application server name.

Is the system started via SAP MMC?

Do you have an entry in the Services file, same directory as the hosts file.

sapmsNSP 3600/tcp

Did you turn off virus protection before installation?

No, I can't start the system with SAP MMC because I have problems with the user/password which is requested.

The file Service contains an entry sapmsNSP 3600/tcp.

When I start the system via the menu -> Start - Programs ... (startSystem.cmd)

then the symbol is yellow.

There are two processes:

- msg_server.exe (status - Running)

- disp+work.exe (status - Running but Message Server is unreachable)

(after a certain time the process is stopped)

Thx for help

Well, then that is why you can't get a log on screen. Not sure what the issue is with starting from MMC.

Now I have deinstalled and reinstalled SAP NW 2004s Trial and now it works

I think, I have made a mistake in the naming of the computer.

At first it was Dell_9200 and then I renamed it to Dell9200.

Thx for all

Hy,

I had the same problems.

I have the solution, i hope.

The first step after unsuccessfully installation, delete all entries in the registry with SAP DB*. The best way is a system without any SAP-Installation(s).

If you have installed the LoopBackAdapter and the services-file has this line:

sapmsNSP 3600/tcp

a JAVA-Runtime is runing, 1.4.2_12, on my system,

the SAP-logon need the entries

Server = localhost

System-ID = NSP

System-Number = 00

and finaly you must install a connection for your host with the network.

Send me your e-mail-account. Then I send back an Description.
