SAP Design Studio Dynamic Chart title based on selection in Navigation Panel

Hello All,

I have built an Infochart and Navigation panel. I wanted the title of the chart to be dynamic based on the dimensions used in Navigation panel.

Say, default view would be "Revenue by Country", if the user drags the dimension State in the navigation panel, the title should be changed to "Revenue by State". Unfortunately I could not find the method like getDimension names used in Navigation Panel or Infochart.

Kindly help me how can I achieve this..I am on 1.6 SP2. Thanks

I don't think there is a way of changing the title of the chart dynamically, even with JavaScript. All the resources I have found so far advise to create a text field which would overlap your chart title area. Text field can then be changed dynamically using JavaScript.

However, there doesn't seem to be a way of extracting the selected dimension from the Navigation Panel either.
