OS/DB Migration

Hi,

I'm exercising OS/DB migration. Source system is Windows NT, Oracle 8.0 and R/3 4.6C. My Target system would be Windows Server 2003, Oracle 8.1.7 and R/3 remains R/3 4.6C.

Before importing the database (run command R3SETUP.EXE), I copy DBSIZE.TPL and DDLORA.TPL files from Export Database directory into <Drive>:\users\<sid>adm\Install directory.

During DBR3LOADEXEC_NT_ORA R3LoadPrepare step, some processes finished successfully, some finished with errors. This is actually due to tablespace size. What I did, was open the log file, determine the tablespace, run SAPDBA, and alter tablespace size.

Is there any other way that we could change the tablespace size upfront?

Rgds,
