Dear community,
we recently did install HANA 2.0 DBs and I came across an issue which makes me wonder if this is a change by SAP or a bug.
In the global.ini parameter file there used to be a section "[ ] backint" where one could set the path to the backup-tool parameter file (e.g. utl-file).
Since HANA 2.0 this section seems to be missing but backups work nonetheless. The parameter file is also given in the "[ ] backup" section, as it was with older HANA releases too.
So do I have to create the section manually, or is it fine to leave this one out as it is no longer needed?
Cheers and thanks,
Jochen
Forget it 🙂 I found the backint settings Hana studio :
in SystemDB@<SID> -> Backup and Recovery -> Open Backup Console -> Configuration -> Backint Settings
Backint Parameter files for data and log
