Hi,
As the subjekt says, I have a problem with the Navigation Modeler when I try to modify the layout of a Web Dynpro View. I can drag a Component from the Toolbox like a Button or TextView, but there are no properties shown in the property window. So I cannot work with these components. Also I cannot delete them via the context menu or elsewise. If I try to copy any component I get an internal error message. Anyone any idea?
Regards
Torsten
Hello Torsten,
Sounds like a dirty installation. What version have you installed and where did you get it?
Also post the error please.
Regards,
Christophe

It's the official 7.0.10 version downloaded today from sap.com. I already tried to reinstall (uninstall(including manual deletion of the ide folder after automatic uninstall) + new installation) the program, but nothing changed.
The error message looks like this:
An internal error has occured. See error log for more details.
Plugin name : Web Dynpro View Designer
Plugin ID : com.sap.ide.webdynpro.viewdesigner
Class : com.sap.ide.webdynpro.viewdesigner.ViewDesignerPart
Method : eventhandling
Message : An error ocurred. See error log for more details.
Exception : java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Argument cannot be null
I've upgraded from 7.0.06 to 7.0.10 today, but only because of this error. The patch hasn't changed anything. Also this, well I call it a bug, occured while I worked on a tutorial Web Dynpro project. The Navigation Modeler worked fine at the start, but now it's the same for all Web Dynpro projects. And the properties are only affected for the components in the Navigation Modeler. For other parts they are shown just fine.
