Allow Partial Delivery of Item Line regarding Delivery Units

Hi Gurus,

when allowing partial deliveries on item level of a sales order, how can we manage to only allow partial deliveries that are considering the specified delivery unit?

Example:
Customer orders 5.000 pcs, all we have on hand is 2.700 pcs.
Delivery Unit = 500 pcs.

Now I would like to get a partial delivery with 2.500 pcs, since this is a multiple amount of the Delivery Unit. The item line should not be marked as completed.

What I can see in our system is, by allowing partial deliveries on item level, the delivery units are being ignored. (In this example, the total of 2.700 pcs would be delivered, leading to fractional amounts that are not wished by neither the customer nor us.) Can you point me in the right direction what settings need to be adjusted?

Please try with option delivery unit field in material master by using your required UOMs.(then it will works even in return deliveries too)

Else you can use the enhancement points in include **FV50XFLK_LIKP_BEARBEITEN** at delivery level.

(try this include with enhancements-Take the help of your Abaper to proceed further)

I tested this and yes system is giving a warning message VL365 which can be converted into an error message via OVM1

I believe system will trigger a warning message when there is a deviation before posting the goods issue which can be changed to an error message.
