Can i use .XML file as a source in information steward ? if yes what are the steps or process need to follow?

Hi,

Assuming you are referring to using xml as a source for Data Insight, supported connections are currently Database, SAP Application, and File connections. The file connection only supports flat files and Excel so xml is not a supported option at this time. You may want to log an enhancement request to add that functionality using SAP Idea Place.

What if i consider Excel as a source to Metadata management?

i ran excel content integrator in CMC and can see the integrator source name created in metadata under relational database category in Metadata management directory page.

But i am not able to see the excel file which i attached while integrating.

My question is : 1)How to fit my excel dats in predefined Template? Are they compulsory sheets in predefined?If yes then hot to adjust my data into that?

2) How to see attached excel file in CMC into SAP IS metadata management tab?
