Changing the data type NUMC to Char

Hi all,

We have an InfoObject with data type NUMC. But the data type in R/3 is Char. Until this day, we did not have any problems. But today, there is a new value for the InfoObject with both characters and Numbers is creating a problem.

Since the master data is already in the ODS and the cube, I cannot change the data type of the InfoObject. Is there a possibility that I could use routine to convert the values from NUMC to CHAR.

Any advice is very helpful.
