COPA gurus:
I posted this but came with no valid answer. Hopefully some one can advise.
Have issue with A/C based COPA with generic Delta extractor. Full load and Initial load work fine. After Initial load, functional group creates 5 A/C postings. However, both BW delta load and RSA3 delta pull zero records (no errors). Curiously enough, in RSA3 when I do the Full load test, these 5 records show up!
Can anyone suggest/comment why in BW it does NOT pull, but full load picks it?
Is there any problem in postings? How do we know? Checked the KEB2 tranasaction which shows zero records in the various time stamps. Checked the summarization table CE1xxxx (xxxx = Operating concern). Table shows zero entries. So where are these 5 records stored that show up in full load test but not in delta? Should there be anything specific done while posting records for time stamp? Do the records for delta and full load come from different tables?
Waited for a day before doing the Delta after the initial load
Wanted to force the change oof Time Stamp, but did not. Because, the SAP documentation for "Simulate Initialization of Delta Process" (which is TC KEB5 for forcing or changing the time stamp) clearly states that "the function is valid ONLY for Data Sources with Time Stamp management in PA. It is NOT relevant for Data sources that use Generic Delta". (I even tried it, but it does not let me change time stamp.)
The COPA data-source we have is based on generated Generic Delta. With PI2004, the only option available is to go with "Generic Delta".
Appreciate your URGENT help with appropriate points awarded.
