Can I save user's operations as a log file on the server side?

Hi expert,

I develop with DesignStudio 1.6. Run the application on BI Platform.

A problem occurs when the user tests. I want to know the operation of the user and the contents of the problem.

However, the user does not remember the operation. I want to save the user's operation as a log file on the server side.

Is there a way to do it?

  • Hi - what would be the purpose of the log? It will slow down performance writing out a log.

If you want to record how the user interacts with the application, maybe use Camtasia (30 day free trial)?

I initially publish the application to about 10 users, so the performance is fine. I know that performance will degrade when log files are output. There is no problem if I reduce the amount of logs. After publishing, I think that trouble will occur. When I do not know the cause of the problem, I want to write the value of the data source and want to know the operation of the user at that time. I will investigate Camtasia.

  • Here is a link to a free trial for Camtasia but it is not a performance tool; it will record user interactions for you to study later
