LDAP groups ROOM_xxxxx in the separate group path

Former Member

Hi,

we have the SAP EP (NW2004s SP9) that uses the LDAP (AD) as the user and group store.

If somebody creates some collaboration room, EP will add to LDAP store

new group with the name ROOM_xxxxx (for example ROOM_70995906-271e-2910-c686-97e08bcbf16f_MAIN).

I would like to ask you to help me with the following questions:

1.Is there a some way how to store these ROOM_xxxxx groups in the

separate group path of LDAP, which would be used only for this type of

groups?

It means that EP would use the groups from two group paths. The

standard one which is filled in the config tool and

one which would be dedicated only for the ROOM_xxxx groups.

2.The name of the group like ROOM_xxxxx isn't so nice. How to change the name of these groups from ROOM_xxxx to something other?

Could you help me to find the answers please?

Reward Points for everybody:)

Thank you!

Dan

Hi,

In your dataSourceConfiguration.xml file you can add multiple LDAP connections, and there is no problem to have them against the same AD servers, but only with different path.

The big question is if you can select where the create groups are stored, and I have no idea
