I am gettig dbs-Error: Table EP_PRT_CACHE: Conversion currently not possible

error while patching EP6.0 to SP18 for which SAP recommends SAP Note 939108 - Failing to apply SP stack to EP on SAP Web AS 6.40 (NW '04)

Which talks about executing delete * from EP_PRT_CACHE.

How do I execute SQL statement on iSeries. Need help with instructions.
