Hi Gurus,

My SAP is installed on Linux and Sybase.

I am trying to permanently register an program for our PO consultant's requirement of an TCP/IP RFC

I am using the following command :

rfcexec -g <gateway_host_fqdn> -x sapgw00 -a <program_name>

This command runs successfully and the TCPIP RFC runs smoothly and I can see the program entry in SMGW --> Logged on clients.

But this command does not bring me back to command prompt and when I kill it using cntrl+c, my TCP/IP RFC stops working and then I do not see that entry in SMGW --> Logged on clients

How do I permanently register this program so that the RFC runs smoothly

Regards

Hi Sandy

Is your OS non-windows? Yes, then run the command as

nohup rfcexec ....... & (nohup at the start and & at the end)

Also check the below link if that helps
