Hi Everyone,

I am just wondering if I can generate all the personal numbers assigned for a single emplyoyee. Currently I am processing leavers and transfers and it is tedious for me to manually check one by one if that employee is indeed a leaver or a transfer (with new personal number). I can only generate a report which doesnt show if that employee has two or more personal numbers.

I'm hoping that there is a query for this that i have yet to discover. Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance!

i didn't understand the question?? why they have so many personnel number? even if they leave its usually one personnel number action is taken on

why are you assigning multiple numbers to single employee, they should be grouped all togather either via 0031 Infotype or 0709 or using concurrent employment, You need to check the business process!

Hello Siddharth,

In many environments, an employee can have many different jobs, most of them on a "Part-time" or "Casual" basis.

In our environment (Public Schools), is not unusual for a person to be hired as a casual "Lunch Time Supervisor", "Teacher Aide" and "Office Technician", and then later on to get a part-time or full-time position. Each of these Positions (OM Object Type S) can be governed by a different set of Rules regarding Attendances-Absences, Quotas, Salary, etc. When the employee gets a full-time position, he/she will probably be terminated in the other Positions, unless one can be accomplished outside of normal working hours.

Many thanks Remi for explaining.

mmmm, If you don't use the linkage option (IT0031, 0709 or CE) maybe an option could be to check using National ID either in IT0002 or IT0069 (if you are dealing with GB EE's) [there are other infotypes but it depends on your country grouping)],

We use IT0031 to link the various PERNR of a single Person, and each Person has a single Central Employee Number (OM Object Type CP with Relation B_209 to Object Type P).
