We are planning on using Project Stock Orders for our customer projects. A single project task may have 37 or more material items assigned to it. When creating the Project Stock Order the Item Type defaults to “Consumption at Site”. We will never use this value. We will always use “Pre Delivery” the stock to the client site.
I cannot find a way to remove or exclude the values for “Consumption at Site” and “Pick Up”. Is there a way to remove these values? If not, can we specify the default to be “Pre-Delivery”? As it is now, I have to manually change all materials when creating stock orders which then changes the behavior of the window which I have to then wait to reload.
Steps to Reproduce:
Logon
Project Management WoC
Open Project
Select “Products” tab
Select “Task Overview” subtab
Click “Create Project Stock Request”
Item Type value defaults to “Consumption at Site”

There are no settings in Projects or in Business Configuration for Projects which will help you achieve your above requirement as of now. I have reached out to solution experts for projects and I will let you know if there are any changes planned for this behavior in the future.
