Components are not getting updated with BAPI_PO_CREATE1

Hi experts,

While creating a subcontracting PO using BAPI_PO_CREATE1, the components are not getting updated. The POCOMPONENTS and POCOMPONENTSX structures are supplied, but it is not reflecting once the PO is saved. However, components update is working in the dialog transaction.

Please help.

If you followed the advise from the note and it does not work then you have to open a call at SAP Support telling them that the solution from the note does not work

By the way, if your question is not directly related to SRM then kindly change the tag to MM (Materials Management)

Thank you for the answer.

I followed the OSS Note 2226222 and tried to create a sub contracting purchas order by providing the data as mentioned in the note, but the components were not updated for materials without having BOM.

For materials with BOM, the BOM component was not replaced by the inserted components. Also, if there are more than one component added, only one of them is getting inserted, and the existing BOM component still present there.

Is there any supporting notes or configurations need to be checked? Please advice.

Did you meet the pre-requisite "This functionality is only available from EHP4 for Release 600." ?

Please fill the Schedule lines tab to consider the components passed in the bapi.
