Problem with add on

Hi,

I understand that some time the Add Ons can not start due to the DI API is corrupted. So normally I will delete the "SM_OBS_DLL" folder that is under the user’s temporary folder (something like C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp). But one of my colleague laptop always has this problem, one or two week her DI API will corrupt. Then I will delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder for her. Can I know what the solutions are in this case because it is not possible only her machine the DI API always corrupted? Can I know the main reasons that cause the DI API? Thanks a lot!
