SAP C4C User Logon Password Reset Issue.

Hello All,

Scenario:

• User has locked the password.
• Clicked on the hyperlink ‘Forgot your password’
• A new pop-up has appear, there provide the E-mail address that is associated with his business user only
• Click on Submit

Copy the Security code which you have received in the E-mail and Paste in the new pop up box

• Click on Submit
• Now user got the option to provide the “new password”

Issue: The user has refreshed (page disappeared) the above page, as email was received in few Minutes.

Now the user tried again by

• Clicking on the hyperlink ‘Forgot your password’
• A new pop-up has appear, there provide the E-mail address(2^nd time) that is associated with his business user only

Click on Submit

Copy the Security code which you have received in the 1st E-mail and Paste in the new pop up box

No the portal is not recognizing the Passcode or sending another one to email, after waiting for about over 10-15 mins. The password reset has worked.

We want this time limitation to be reduced or removed for 2nd Attempt or so-on.

Hence, Please anyone advice how to control the time interval for pass-code email generation or if the pass-code from 1st email can be used on refreshed screen(for 2nd attempt with in 10 mins).

Business user forget the password and click on Forgot password Link , then system asks for the Email ID of the user and then sends the password to the corresponding email ID of the user.

This secure password is only valid for 10 minutes, Since the time of request, If the password does not work, then the user need to again click on forgot password link to get a new secure password.

This cannot be compromised for other reasons due to security reasons
