Hi,
I am facing a problem in printing address using Address Node in smartform.
The form is in production already and it is getting triggered from a output type form T-code <b>Vl03n</b>.
I put a break in FM <b>Address_into_printform</b> and found that only a address number a passed to the FM (as it should be, in case of smartform). I have used two different delivery number given by user To trigger the output. The address node is printing the address of sold to party.
The input I am passing ADRESS NODE in smartform is => the address number and the sending country, the line number (5) and the starting paragraph.
One radio button is selected to give priority to street, if PO also present.
The output for those two user input showing the address with country in one place and address without country in other. But when I put break in that FM, I found that the ADRESS_PRINTFORM has the the complete addres in both cases. Why it is not printing the country for one case? How can print it?
Hello,
I'm sure this has been discussed many times before. You can search for more details.
The address is formatted as per postal regulations. As such it doesn't generally show the destination country if it's the same as the sending country. If you're sending from New York to Chicago the post office doesn't need to be told it's the US. If you're shipping from Berlin to Paris the German post office needs to know the country is France; actually it needs the German word for France but I can't remember that right now. Try clearing the from country value if you always want the country to print.
Regards,
Michael
