How do sorting months in pie charts on webi rich client

Hi All,

I have a pie chart which was created with month name and noof incidents.

But month name is displaying as April july june may.

Is there any possibility to sort month in pie chart to display data like april may june july ?

We heard that for pie chart sort option will not show up because it’s a circular one and it doesn’t matter for it to sort in anyway, is this correct ?

Hello Ram,

Click on the border to select/highlight the whole chart (not just the pie), select Sort -> Advanced -> Select Month Name and manually sort it (custom sort)

Another way requires having Month Number object, do you have that? If yes, you can add that column too to the chart, hide that from Assign Data window. And finally, sort the chart on Month Number instead of Month Name. Please check the below pic. Let us know if that helps.
