NWBC 6.0: After opening a new tab via shortcut (ctrl + t), the input field is not in focus

Hi!

I'd like to raise the issue announced long ago here: https://blogs.sap.com/2014/08/01/nwbc-feature-request-and-improvement-register/

After opening a new tab via shortcut (ctrl + t), the input field is not in focus and not ready to enter a transaction directly. That’s quiet annoying, because you have to move the cursor everytime by hand. There is even a shortcut to get the inputfield in focus, but ctrl + alt + L is not really useful. Getting the inputfield in focus automatically after opening a new tab would be nice. SAP GUI also behaves this way.

It's really a bit annoying and the refinement of this would raise the usability.

Thanks!

For future reference, here is how to set up that functionality:

First, call a transaction (any transaction) in NWBC (or standalone 😞

1.1 On the far right of the toolbar, choose the last icon "Customize Local Layout" (Alt+F12) (looks like a monitor with red, green, blue stripes on it).

1.2 Choose Options -> Keyboard Settings -> "Automatically move focus to next input field on reaching the end of input field"

It doesn't work, or it's not about the input field in the NWBC tab at all.

I found out that on new tabs the focus is automatically shifted only to a separately displayed transaction field in the SAP GUI screen, activated by checkbox "Activate SAP GUI OK-code" in SAP GUI Interoperability settings in NWBC.
