Overlapped buttons on partner redetermination

Hello,

We went live with persona for order entry transactions and after go live we have identified many users are experiencing issue of overlapping buttons on pop up for ship to re determination. Users can not use button option of redetermine as they are overlapped. Not all are experiencing it but many are getting same issue.

Solutions we tried

1. Resetting IE browser , checking Java add ins, trying other browser like Chrome

2. Users with no issue with this pop up and users with this issue interchanged systems and it still worked fine for users with no issue of different systems.

3. Authorization trace to see if any failing authorization.

4. Assigning new temporary id , and assigning user parameters same as users with no issue.

I am attaching pop up original and corrupted screen shot for you reference.

Did you make any changes to this popup window in your flavor?

How does the same popup window behave when you are running the transaction without a Personas flavor, i.e. in the webgui, with Personas disabled?

No changes made to pop up window in our flavor. Pop up window behaves correctly in webgui when persona is disabled. But as I said not all users are getting distorted pop up window , only some of them. I even can not reproduce the issue with my user id but I can see users getting distorted pop up (only this pop up) in front of me.

We are really clueless as what is happening with those users.

I have not heard yet of an issue where Personas would alter the popup rendering just by being active (and using the Original Screen, with no flavor applied).

If that's the case, the best would be to open an OSS incident, however if the issue cannot be reliably reproduced, that will make investigation very difficult.

Issue is happening on flavor and not on Original screen. But we have not modified the pop up on our flavor which is giving us issue. Again pop up issue is reproducible all the time for users who are getting it using their user ids . Right now we know a bunch of users are affected who have to deal with changing ship tos on orders all the time and this issue is occurring to them all the time.

However if I want to reproduce the issue with my user id on their systems I am not able to do that. But they can reproduce the issue on any system using their user ids.

Can you check if user with issues and without issues have same settings under

F4 settings under menu -> Help -> Settings -> F4 Help -> Display

It is recommended to have "Dialog (modal)" for Personas.

Yes Chinthan , we checked that setting as well. SAP incident is opened already and Persona team working on this incident is able to reproduce the issue in production environment. They are further investigating this issue.
