I am facing problem in connecting Dell Boomi system to SAP ECC. I am using the concept of web services (EmployeeMasterDataReplicationRequest_In), but I am unable to connect Dell Boomi to SAP ECC through this web service. May be the problem arises with WSDL or End Point URL or activation of the web service. Kindly please help me out for the same.
Hi Akshay
Where exactly the communication fails, do you get an error message? I suggest you use the ICM trace and transaction SRT_UTIL for error analysis. If the service is asynchronous you can also check tr SRT_MONI
This guide shows how to use the ICM trace you can look for the host name of the service provider to see if there is any network errors. To find the request look for "HTTP POST " or just "POST " then use the ID (id=dummynumber/Dummynumber) to look for the response in the trace
http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/c4E_FQ
KBA 2322379 shows an example how to create a payload trace in SRT_UTIL
If the messages are asynchronous you should also make sure that the system is configured for that, ie the SRT runtime is set up. You can do this in tr SRT_ADMIN or SRT_TOOLS. Make sure you see the relevant locks in SM12 as per 1616303 & 1887188

Botond
