Workset 'Home' in portal role 'Manager self service"

Hi, experts,

I am trying to customize the standard mss portal role, which contains too many stuff, so i created a deltalink of it and doing some modifications on the deltalink.

I noticed that in the content of the role, there is a workset called Home,

i am wondering that what 's that for? what special feature it can offer?

how about not to include it and use the workset mss only ,with the entrypoint selected?

and could you please tell me where i can find more information on portal role tab page design ?

I think you create your own worksets with required iViews/Pages attached to it. The worksets then can be assigned to roles as per requirements.
