Dear Ganesh,

Thank you for asking questions in our SAP Community.

Based on your question above, the way we (SAP) deployed our products to the General Available Public was we introduced 3 main executables that are downloadable in our SAP Software area:

  1. SAPWorkMgr641Deployment.exe: The SAP Work Manager application for Windows deployments of the SAP Mobile Platform run time environment
  2. SAPWorkMgr641MeterMgrDeployment.exe: The SAP Work Manager application with the Meter Management component for Windows deployments of the run time environment
  3. SAPWorkMgr641CustomerServiceDeployment.exe: The SAP Work Manager application with the Customer Service component for Windows deployments of the run time environment

Each of these executable will eventually create their own respective SAPWM application zip file that has the features of the said configuration. Example the Meter Manager will have Meters while the Customer Service will have CS. But if you want to merge them then you can work with the necessary Agentry Eclipse Editor (Compare with Other Agentry exports) to start merging what is different + also try to see if you can merge the Java items as well.

The reasoning for the split is sometimes most customers do not need the extra blueprint that each of the functionalities will have in the client. The more the blueprint the bigger the software and it may affect performance. So instead of merging the different capabilities, it was presented as separated to speed up performance.

At the end of the day, you may be dealing with non-standard items and may need you to invest more into your testing and implementation. Doing so may require you to subcontract the work to SAP Services but once you modify the source, it will be expected that your team will support the changes.

Hope this helps give you some direction.

As Mark mentions there are distinct deployments for meter management and customer service. The last I heard was that in order to try and combine them would require additional backend changes to support that. It is certainly something you could explore through a services engagement with SAP Services if you were interested in trying to go this route.
