Solman 7.2 Charm Error - There is no active task list in the urgent change

Former Member

Hello All,

We recently upgraded our Solman system to 7.2 SP4 and are configuring ChaRM for the ECC landscape. I am getting the error message "There is no active task list in the Urgent Change" when I create a ZMHF change document.

I am using a phase cycle (SMIM) with the task list activated. The ZMHF transaction type is fairly standard and has been updated using the report AI_CRM_CPY_PROCTYPE. We don't see any errors displayed in the task list and the change cycle, but we are not able to proceed with the creation of Change documents due to the above error.

Need your help to identify the cause of this issue and help in fixing it.

Thanks..

Hi

The urgent change task list gets created by action CREATE_HF (see reference blog post CHARM Framework Overview - this specific action is still valid in SolMan 7.2) so I would suggest you start by checking your customizing in SPRO - "Make settings for Change Transaction Types" for your transaction type (SMHF or ZMHF is you have created your own) and check for "Assign Actions", the action CREATE_HF in status E0001 and E0002 and perhaps also Define Execution Time of Actions while you are at it to verify your customizing is correctly done.

Best regards

Hi,

please do varification check for project which you have assigned to your urgent change. It might because of any error in project.

Hi,

I would recommend checking the Processing logs and see if there are any errors during the maintenance cycle assignment. In 7.1 this error is common if the ChaRM is not assigned to a active Task list (individual to the Urgent Correction).
