Hi All,
Kindly help us,
We have a Multiplex environment (1- Coordinator node and 5-writer nodes)
Today our Coordinator node is down, Due to the dbname.log was missing.we don't know how it happend. When coordinator node down SCC is down in both coordinator and failover nodes. Failover node is not take role as coordinator. and we are unable to OFF the ENABLE_AUTOMATIC_FAILOVER option from any of the writer nodes.
And we tried below on failover node. but no use it though error.
start_iq @/IQ_CATALOG/DB/params.cfg /IQ_CATALOG/DB/dbname.db -iqmpx_failover 1
Now our environment(now 5-writer nodes) runs in read only mode.
Kindly suggest how to bring up coordinator node and write enabled. restore from clean backup is not possible, because almost one week data we lost if we restore it from clean backup.

Krishnam Raju
Hi,
A dbmane.log is missing means there are no transaction log file?

Thanks for the reply Gi-sung,
We have already raised an incident with SAP, They are saying ENABLE_AUTOMATIC_FAILOVER option should be off before manually up the failover node as coodinator. But we are unable to OFF the ENABLE_AUTOMATIC_FAILOVER option from any of the writer nodes. So SAP suggestion is restore it from last clean backup.
I have one small question can we able to take incremental backup from these writer nodes..?. because if we are going for restore we lost one week data.

Hi,
Here is a link for incremental backup.
In a multiplex environment, execute allBACKUPDATABASE and RESTORE DATABASE commands on thecoordinator.
