Apply PP Module and the valuation area is company code level

Dear All,

My client would look to apply PP module under a new company code but the valuation area on the system already was set as company code level from a long time.

And SAP Recommendation was to set the valuation area on the plant level.

But now its non changeable.

Read OSS note 8696 - Valuation level can no longer be maintained

it explains the background and clearly states "Contact the SAP consultants which analysize the data constellation in your system and develop a customer-specific strategy for the implemenation." (not my typos)
