SAP confirmation of production order

Hi all,

Is there any possibily to confine/set the confirmation of the incoming material quantity for production order? Let´s say we have the requested 600 parts to be produced. Based on BOM we need 600 incoming material XY as well. However we face sometimes with bad confirmation of incoming material XYdone by workers due to mishandling/inconsequence and they confirm more material than is required for completion of 600 parts (assemblies) - for instance 50000 incoming XY parts (required just 600 parts).

Is possible to limit the confirmed excessive quantity of incoming parts (e.g. in % what could exceeds due to scrap material) and prevent from entering the nonsense? There could pop up the error nofication...

I know that just finished parts could be restricted in transaction OPK4 - but raw material and semifinished parts???...

While creating Production Order in goods receipt tab; you have tolerances defined that let under delivery & over delivery tolerance;

if production is over delivered it will not let you post it until the production order is not changed.
