ASP GSP role after GST implementation

Please clear the role of ASP GSP after GST implementation.

Is it mandatory to take ASP GSP services for return filing?

You need to upload all your invoices on GSTN, to upload the invoices on GSTN you will require ASP created by SAP team.

To upload the invoices on GSTN, we requires GSP not ASP...as per my understanding...

Through ASP, file format will be convert as required to upload on GSTN.

My question was that if we don't take the ASP GSP services, then we can process return filing or not?
