ADS on NW2004

Hi,

I installed and configured Adobe Document Services on NW2004 SP12, according to the Inst.- and Config-Guides. I installed ADS with SapInstGui, using the NetWeaverComponentsDVD I got from the file 51030723_1.zip . During Configuration I created a User ADSUser and a Group ADSCallers and used Basic Authentication. I went through all Configuration Steps twice.

When calling the WebService with ADSUser and the given password I geht the Error 302 - "Invalid Response Code: (302) Found.".

No version number is displayed.

I don´t know, if the following has something to do with it, but:

As there is also no directory "..SYSglobalAdobeDocumentServicesTrustManagerService rustcredentials", but Visual Admin found the credential file nevertheless, I suppose something during the Installation went wrong, but I didn´t get an error message, and I started the Installation twice.

Thank you in advance for responses.

Kind Regards

Ilona

Hello

This problem is a problem of the ADSUser. The password of this is initial.

Go to Visual Admin

-> server -> service -> security provider service -> user management

tab, then select user ADSUser.

If option 'No password change is required' is not selected, please

check it.

if the user is from the ABAP Side (double stack). Make sure the user: ADSUser is type system.

Best regards,

Hi,

check this.

1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:

http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config

where <server> is the name of the J2EE engine where the Adobe document services are installed and <port> is the port of the J2EE engine.

Note that the entries in the URL are case-sensitive.

2. The web page of the web service AdobeDocumentServices is displayed. Choose Test.

3. Choose rpdata(test.…) .

4. Choose the Send button without entering any parameters.

5. Enter the user name and password as given in the configuration steps(as in configuration guide- User:ADSUser) .

6. Choose Submit.

If the configuration is correct, you get the information about the Version number in the response area.

Please confirm the ADS version and WAS information

thanks,

Lohi.
