Book Depreciation 01 - Other than Local Currency

Hi -

Do we have an option to flip the book depreciation instead of local currency (co. code currency) to Group currency. We do have a requirement for a particular company code - the book depreciation should be Group currency instead of Local Currency. Creating an alternative depreciation area with group currency option was discussed and eliminated. Reason for elimination was to avoid the revaluation of currency and transactions.

For ex. - Co. Code currency = ARS

Group Currency = USD

All financial entries are currently getting valuated daily from ARS to USD, now with regards to Asset Accounting implementation it is expected to have Book Depreciation Area (01) to be USD instead of ARS.

Can that be achieved instead of creating an alternative dep. area? Thanks
