Can we install Dev and QA in Single Server

hi

Now we r going to sizing the BW System.

we getting data only fro HR,FI,CO and MM

Can we installed the BW Dev and QA in one server

Do we need have seperate serversfor each of them

Total concurrent of users would be 25

Can anyone help me out

bev and qa usually on same server..

prod on separate..

you can indeed have the servers in the same servers - there is a name for this - it is called MCOD - multiple components in one database , you can either look at having different DB for the above or sharing the same DB , it will be a matter of server sizing thats all and configuring the transport connections.

On an average assume 300MB (150 App + 150 DB) of RAM per concurrent users.
