Manage Reservation: Delete and set deletion indicator difference.

Hello All,

Client requirement is deleted reservation open in display mode.

I have create manual reservation for x material. However, when I follows year-end activity to delete open reservation through T-code MBVR, but that time the system directly delete reservation. If I check T-code MB23 (display mode) system gives below error.

" Reservation xxxxx does not exist

Message no. M7520

Diagnosis

The reservation you entered does not exist in the database.

Procedure

Make sure your entries are correct.

Choose the input help in the "Reservation" field to search for a reservation for a material or an account assignment."

Please suggest any option to show deleted reservation in MB23 or any other place.

Hi Ulhas,

If you set deletion indicator to the production order than it will have a deletion flag to the reservation in RESB.

If you do TECO than it will completly remove the reservation no.

Item is deleted

Specifies whether the item has already been deleted.

Use

This indicator is used to activate reorganization of the reservation file (this involves the deletion of old or superfluous reservations).

If this indicator is set, the management/administration program performs the following actions:

• Flagging of items for deletion
  The management program sets the deletion indicator in reservation items

• that are "completed" ("final issue" indicator set or entire required quantity withdrawn), and

• whose "date required" is earlier than the date calculated by the system on the strength of the base date entered.

• Deletion of reservations
  If all items of a reservation are flagged for deletion, the entire reservation is removed from the file.

Procedure

Mark this field if you want to reorganize the reservation file.

Dependencies

• If the indicator "Only completed items" has also been set, only "completed" reservation items are flagged for deletion.

• It is possible to delete only those reservations that have been entered with a certain account assignment (for instance, cost center, order, etc .). To do this, enter the account assignment (it is possible to enter a number interval) as search criterion.

If all the items in the reservation is deleted than the entire reservation is deleted,
