HRFORMS: Getting fields into smartforms

I've created a new payslip in smartforms, but when I drag and drop fields from HRDATA on the field list into the Form Painter, the form won't compile. I get errors like this:

The data object "HRDATA" does not have a component called "DIM_EMPLOYEE-PERSONNEL_ID".

I'm obviously doing something wrong, and I get the feeling it's something quite simple to fix. Any ideas?

If the feild id already there, then copy and paste. Then set &---& as aproppriate.

It could help. I have done such before.

I guess your HRDATA does not have the field name PERSONNEL_ID.

Check die Entries in HRDATA to comfirm if field PERSONNEL_ID is listed.

Thanks for the reply but the field is there. I'm not typing it in, I'm dragging it from the field list on to the text attributes. SAP is creating the field name, not me.
