Stock Transfer

Dear All, I have a questio regarding interplant process (Stock transfer).

I move material 1 from plant A to plant B whether it is to replenish our warehouse or to fulfill a shipment directly. Now it is necessary to have those two cases identified separately. How can I do that is the relationship key between Plants A and B is one to one, regarding Purchase Order and Delivery type?

Hi Julio Alvear,

Through Stock Transport Order, you may create 2 separate Document Type to differentiate the nature of STO or just a single document type and specify the nature of request through ordering reason .

If the transfer is directly via IM (MIGO 301,303-305) , you use the reason for goods movement.

Hi Julio,

Do you want to differentiate the stock or do you want to differentiate the order for reporting?

If it is for stock bifurcation then you can use batch management and if it is for reporting purpose then you can create new Purchase order document types as per your requirement.
