To Gray out the fields

Hi,

In ME22N i need to gray out few fields. Everthing works fine expect for the fields in the table control. When i loop at escreen i don't get the Table control name but only its column names. I'm using BADI ME_PROCESS_PO and method

FIELD_SELECTION_ITEM.

Pls help what could be the problem
