Transports between SP18 and SP12

For a short period of time, our XI 3.0 Dev system is on SP18, while our Test and Prod systems are still on SP12. Assuming I don't make use of features not in SP12, will I have any problems transporting repository objects from Dev to Test while the SP levels are mis-matched?

There are chances of getting errors. Like not able to open some of the IR objects, or mapping errors because of java patch problem , version conflict errors.

Because you are transporting from Higher SP to lower SP..

So we can not ignore the conflicts/errors. It may occur...
